First of all I'd like to thank all of you all for wishing me luck with the 3 peaks; it was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, nothing can really prepare you for how exhausted you're going to be and how much your muscles will ache! The day after I felt like I'd been run over by a bus aha, I definitely underestimated the challenge and completely forgot that walking up a mountain is less of a walk and more of a scramble/ climb. The paths were so steep, we climbed over boulder fields, walked alongside sheer drops and in a foot of snow... so many things went wrong in regards to timings and injuries (I now have a cankle!!) and our group got lost walking down one mountain in the pitch black at 2am. All of that being said it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life, I would 100% do it again and plan to within the next couple of years. In total I raised £631 for the Princes Trust and as a team we raised over £15,000.
Now onto the outfit, I wore this a few weekends ago at home- excuse the dodgy lighting in these pictures and the fact my label is quite clearly on show (so annoying). I picked up this shirt a few weeks ago in a charity shop in Reading and it's turned into my 'go-to' shirt whenever I'm stuck on what to wear as you can style it in quite a few different ways and it goes with everything. But the thing I'm most excited about is my rabbit pendant (which you may have seen on my insta). I absolutely LOVE it! I saw it in Dutty in Bristol a few months back when I had no money and actually couldn't stop thinking about it, so last time I was there I popped in and thankfully they had it in stock. I had spent loads of time on eBay trying to find a rabbit or hare pendant similar but they were all cute bunny rabbits- someone mentioned that it looks like the rabbit from Donnie Darko and that's what I love about it, that it's not 'pretty' and I haven't seen anything else like it. Definitely going to be on my list of favourite jewellery for a very long time. Dutty have got quite a big selection of their items on their website now, but their amazing pendants/ necklaces and masses of vintage clothes are only currently available in their boutique store on Cheltenham road- it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
