Amazing

My weekend at home has really given my time to actually do things (dye my clothes... paint my nails... get my hair done... watch the new Twilight- which I loved!!) and I've missed it soo much, it's made me really look forward to Christmas, 12 days off work at home with my family just chilling and having me time. I wanted to try out something festive on my black nails- I think the two straight ones ruin the design a little but apart from that I quite like them. Also I now have my dslr (canon 550d, the best birthday present EVER. My parents are amazing!) so hopefully the quality of my pictures will start to be much better, I just need to figure out how to use it aha.

Oooh and I've had the hair fixed, it's kinda back to normal only there's a subtle dip dye effect going on, might make it blonder next time but for now I'm just happy that I no longer look like an 'emo gone wrong'.

OH and Skrillex was AMAZING. I have literally never been sweatier in my whole entire life it was mental. At the end of his set he got crowd surfed out and I managed to get a cheeky kiss, cuddle and picture with him. massively starstruck.

Humbug

I've well and truly had a 'hair-mare' this weekend, I asked for my dip dye to be redone and a little higher up and it's ended up way too high and bloody black (the plan was for it to be brown) and the pictures don't do it justice to how bad it looks aha thank god!! But all is fine as I'm getting it fixed tomorrow, don't know what to do with it yet, might have to go back dark all over?!

Spending the weekend at home I actually had time to do something creative with my nails and try out my nail art pens (24 pens for £6.60 eBay!) I did a humbug theme to match my dress which was a present for my birthday, alongside the cross ring, love love them both. This is what I wore out for my birthday celebrations in Cheltenham which consisted of a few too many rum and cokes in The 2 Pigs although I opted for black tights when I got to pre-drinks because it was just too cold.

Galaxy

Galaxy has been something I've had my eye on for a while, I'm obsessed with it and have been constantly checking sites in the hope the prices have dropped, but I don't think the galaxy trend has hit properly yet (which is a good thing, nobody likes something everyone has) and therefore until Primark sell it the prices aren't going to budge. I just couldn't justify spending that much money on simple items when I'm as skint as I always am. It's the sort of thing you won't buy for yourself but as a gift it's the best thing in the world. The placement girls chipped in to buy me a galaxy tee and it was a complete surprise, I wasn't expecting it at all- I am SO happy (I was starting to worry I'd never own any galaxy print clothing!).

Here's a few of my favourite galaxy pieces andddd my new top :)

1. My new tee :) - YAYER £42 // 2. Galaxy Blue Skirt - Black Milk £38.27 // 3. Galaxy Blue Dress - Black Milk  £63.14 // 4. Galaxy Purple Suspenders - Black Milk £79.73 // 5. Galaxy Black Leggings - Black Milk £47.84

Mustard

Last night I went to a rather posh 21st, 3 course dinner, champagne reception and a catwalk to our tables. To start off with I felt a little bit out of place because I'm not used to swish evenings out, and I'm not entirely sure how well the stretched ear, shaved head and nose ring went down... but I had a really nice night, my friend's dad did a speech which was so cute, we lit lanterns in her honour and the food was amazing! It also gave me the chance to dress up which I never do, everyone looked gorgeous. I'll add some pictures when my friend gets copies of the professional ones that got taken.

It's my 21st on Tuesday and I've got lots of exciting things planned, birthday meals and nights out- I'm off home this weekend for the first time in months andddd the best part is that I'm going to the Skrillex after party in Bristol!! I'm so excited, Skrillex is a bit like Marmite in the world of dubstep, you either love him or hate him but I lovelovelove him.

Just a quick outfit post, this is what I wore Friday night- Pizza Express with BOGOF vouchers, you cant go wrong :)

Broken Promises

What a weekend, Friday I went to Motion (shock I know!) for RUN012 which starred the likes of Rusko, Andy C, Scratch Perverts and Gemini all of which were amazing, definitely a line-up to shout about... best Motion night so far? Hmm I seem to say that every time aha, they just keep getting better.

Saturday was one of my best friends 21sts, she had a house party which again was soo much fun, a couple of us chipped in for her presents and got one of the lovely necklaces from Peaches and Nothing (which she absolutely loved) and a couple of pieces from Motel including these Pamela Mann Vertical Stripe Tights which I had to buy for myself as well, they're just so cool.

Thought my tattoo looked quite cool underneath my tights too so I thought I'd share :)

I booked Monday off as holiday for recovery/ a Bristol shopping spree- coming up to Christmas Cabot is always ridiculously busy on a Saturday and I just can't cope with it! I successfully managed to blow the rest of my months wages but I did get two gorgeous dresses for some formal events I have coming up... keep your eyes peeled. Bristol looked so Christmassy with the winter market and all the decorations up, I'm usually a grinch when it comes to Christmas- (I've worked Christmas Day the last 4 years!!) But this year I'm excited and feeling rather festive.

In other news I've lost my voice, I clearly can't cope with two nights out in a row and I've gone all husky. So today I was working in London greeting customers at an event whilst sounding like a man, early to bed for me tonight I think! Also I've come to the conclusion I have to go to London for an non-work-related reason, I honestly don't know why I haven't been yet.

Liebster :)

Ahhhhhhhhhh... yesterday the lovely Amy Bell from The Little Magpie awarded me the Liebster Blog Award. I was so surprised when I read my comment, it's made me really happyyy :) Thank you! Amy's blog is definitely one of my favs, check it out!!

I've had lots of goodies arrive today including a Models Own delivery (too exciting) and my beautiful necklaces and rings from Georgina at Peaches and Nothing (thank youuuu!). Ohh and earlier in the week my fake JC's (officially my favourite shoes ever) and 2 dozen nail art pens came to my desk at work. I love internet shopping.

Just a quick outfit post from last night, myself and the girls from placement went to Bella Italia (50% off vouchers on studentbeans) for one of the girls 21st birthday... we started off with a few glasses of red wine at her flat (which is lush, loads nicer than my poor excuse for a house- only 9 months left in it. Not that I'm counting...) and then walked to the waterfront for our food, which was soo good.

Revealing

I got to see Annie Mac this weekend for freeeeee :) it was really good, I only stayed for a few hours to watch her set which didn't fail to impress as per. I really wanted to see Emalkay but his set was on at 5am and I just couldn't stay up!!

I went out in Bath on Saturday night for my friend's birthday, it was really fun- we went to Porter Bar which is a little chilled indie bar and I managed to spend no money, which is well good. I was shattered this morning but got dragged out of bed for breakfast at a cute little cafe, there were 20 of us looking pretty intimidating (tattoos galore) waiting at the door for it to open. I think the owner got quite a shock aha.

So my outfit from Saturday night is a tad revealing but in my defence it's not actually mine, it's my friend's sisters and she wants it back soon so I was running out of time to wear it and just went for it!!

November's Most Wanted

I can't believe how many comments and new followers I've had this week, thank you so much :)

This week's been pretty busy, worked at the UWE careers fair yesterday which was really fun- I literally talked my way through the whole 6 hours; explaining the placement and grad schemes HP offer. It's left me pretty motivated about my job and actually really looking forward to the next few weeks at work!

I'm in Bristol tonight to see some fireworks (cannot believe we're in November already?!) and possibly Annie Mac at Motion... which would be amazing because I love love love Toddla T and he's there. Then off to Bath tomorrow for my friend's birthday; another great weekend lined up.

Last month all I could think about was how much I wanted some new jewellery, here's my wishlist for November:

1. Robot/Bike Pendant- £8 - Peaches and Nothing  // 2/3. Clock Pendants- £8 - Peaches and Nothing // 4. 'Deer Me' Ring- £6 - Dixi // 5. Square Chunky Ring- £5 - Topshop // 6. Oblong Stone Ring- £7 - Topshop // 7. Enamel Bug Ring- £3.99 - New Look // 8. Love Rocks Gold & Topaz Owl- £20 - ASOS // 9. House of Harlow 1960 Antiqued Arrow Ring- £57 - ASOS  // 10. Double Finger Cross Ring- £8 - ASOS // 11. Pieces Elin Double Finger Ring- £7 - ASOS // 12. Metal Moustache Ring- £8 - ASOS

Now I know some of these aren't exactly in price range but it doesn't stop them from being extremely cool! Definitely buying one of the pendants from Peaches and Nothing, they're lovely and soo cheap, just can't decide which one is my favourite I'm eyeing up the robot. So original!!
